Featured Recipe for February:
Sour Cream Cutout Cookies
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. White Sugar
1 C. Margarine
2 Eggs
5-1/2 C. Flour
1 t. Baking Powder
2 t. Baking Soda
1 C. Sour Cream
1 t. Vanilla

Cream sugars and margarine; add eggs and mix well. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream (to which you have added 1 t. vanilla) to the creamed mixture. Chill and then roll out on floured surface and cut with desired cookie cutter. Don't roll dough too thin if you want a thick soft cookie. Bake at 350 - 375 degrees until set, not brown. Approximately 8 minutes.

Yield: 5 dozen cookies

Family Secret: We like these cutouts anytime of year. Just change cookie cutters with each season or holiday.
